HARRISON LAKE QUARTZ

Matrix Specimens under $100

HLQ41.  Very well formed and gem Japan Twin.  This specimen has been professionally repaired as the matrix broke in half on me

while trimming, however it impossible to tell unless you hold the specimen upside down in your hands at close proximety. Better

specimen than the photos actually suggest; I had problems with flare from the lights on the close ups.  4x3.5x3.5cm   $45

HLQ31.  Very well formed and gem Japan Twin.  7x4x3cm   $45

HLQ33.  Very well formed and gem Japan Twin.  3x2.5x2cm  $25 SOLD

HLQ60.  Very well formed and gem Japan Twin on matrix. Iron staining into a veil that comes to

surface is impossible to remove, however it is still a very nice specimen.  4x4x3cm   $30

HLQ63. Well formed gem Japan Twin on goethite covered points. Small but nice. Could be cleaned more if desired. 3x1.5x1.5cm   $25

HLQ36.  Very well formed and gem Japan Twin with nestled next to a gem point. Minor inclusion of mica that never quite

pseudomorphed to goethite on the right tip has caused some growth interference. Better than photos suggest.  4x3.5x3cm   $25

HLQ65.  Very well formed and gem Japan Twin on matrix.  6x4x3.5cm   $40

HLQ38.  Very well formed and gem Japan Twin.  Minor veiling that has become included with iron stains does cloud it some bit,

but the presentation and gemmy areas do make up for it in my opinion.  5x3.5x3cm   $65

HLQ39.  Extremely clean gem Japan Twin.  Lots of 'growth lines' visible on this one.  4x3x2cm   $30

HLQ40.  Very well formed and gem Japan Twin. Some minor veiling that has become included with iron stains

and an odd arrangement on the matrix, but still a very nice specimen.  5x5x4cm   $45

HLQ68.  Very well formed and gem Japan Twin on matrix. The picture does not do this one justice.  4x2x2cm   $75

HLQ42.  Very odd by well formed and gem truncated Japan Twin. This specimen has two professional repairs; first the twin has been

re-attached at the base and the large flat point lying in relief in behind has bee re-attached. When these are cleaned in the oxalic acid,

some fractures that are filled with iron staining (which bonds the fracture) is disolved. These basically just dropped off the specimen as

soon as it was dry. Very clean re-attachments during the repair make it unnoticable.     5x5x2cm   $50

HLQ43.  Large Japan Twin in a goethite covered vug of quartz in the host rock.  Two small nicks on the left twin do

take away a bit from this piece, but it is big and the twinning and overall presentation make up for it in my opinion.  12x9x5cm  $80

HLQ44.  Cluster of Japan Twins. There are two more on the back that are intruding into the

base of the predominant twin on top. Nice big twin.  7x5x4.5   $25

HLQ45.  Very nice matrix specimen of three gem Japan Twins.  No damage and nice presentation. 6x4x2.5   $60 SOLD

HLQ49.  Very well formed and gem Japan Twin.  3x2x1.5   $40

HLQ52. Very well formed and gem Japan Twin. Left ear has some un-dissolved mica in it that gives it a rough look. 5x3.5x2   $20

HLQ54.  Two interpretating Japan Law twins. Large one is heavy veiled and included

from growth interference with pyrite that has since dissolved.    3x3x2   $15

HLQ56.  Very well formed and Japan Twins on matrix. This specimen has been professionally repaired. Unfortunately,

in addition, the rear twin has been contacted on the left ear. Some amount of veiling present too, but still nice presentation.  6x5x4   $25
